They're young men now, but it's hard to remember to call them that.
He has big shoulders and is always willing to take a little more of the load but I'm always aware that it adds up.
What do you need less of? Want to let go of?

Sometimes we forget how finely tuned horses are to scanning their environment.
Gotta admit, I forgot to lock the gate when I was doing chores night before last. Got distracted by the full moon and stars and well.... maybe you’ve been there? I'm hoping I'm not alone here.
Yesterday morning when I went to feed I was greeted by Junior and Wish who looked at me like ‘well, you’ve lost your mind woman but you can feed us now.’
They were very agitated and looking off into the hills.
My pathetic human eyes didn’t see anything so I fed and went about my day.
Last night as I was feeding the whole gang was on serious high alert.
This time we all experienced the surprise of a wild pig family coming out of the trees and bringing their 6 tiny babies for a stroll right through the pasture.
It’s the first time I’ve seen them on our property but they’re probably pushed out from the fires the last few years.
Here’s what I learned...when horses are intent on the horizon it’s because they’re right to be.
I also learned that the piglets run the show. One of the littles decided make an abrupt U-turn and the whole crew followed.
My kind of Friday night.
I’d love to hear times your horse was on it way before you figured out what was what! xoxo
